Pukeko was founded in 2008 by five-time Oscar winner Richard Taylor, Tania Rodger, and Martin Baynton. Andrew Smith is CEO.

Pukeko has developed and produced award winning TV shows, seen in 100+ territories around the world.

Thunderbirds Are Go, the current co-production with ITV, has already been commissioned into a second series.
